A few years ago I went to Goshen, Indiana and talked to someone at the "old library building" and got the following information:

There are 5 White family members buried in the Oakridge Cemetery in Goshen, Indiana that may be related to me. They are in the original section 916 in the following locations. From: Tim White

Over fifty men enlisted in Company M, 3rd Ohio Volunteer Cavalry, on 8 Sept. 1861, including Lt. Henry C. Miner, known to be from Morrow County.

"In Companies D, E, F, L and M, Third Regiment Ohio Volunteer Cavalry, ninety-seven men from Morrow county served from the fall of 1861 as follows: William Meredith and Harvey Kerns Company D, James C Serrells or Searles and Cyrus Hoy, Company E, Elijah Boxley, Company F, and Chauncey Olds Company L, died of wound November 9 1862. "The balance of ninety-one men were in Company M."
