Important note: Nothing is known of a wife or children of William E. White, nor is anything known of the parents of William Andrew White. William Andrew White is believed to be a descendant, probably a great-grandson, of Andrew White (1735-1810,) who served as a Patriot in the American Revolution, and his wife, Amy Palmer White. William Andrew White is shown here as a son of William E. White as a convenience or 'placeholder' only. Believed children of William Andrew White & Phoebe Anna Brown: Rosella A. White 1868 –, William F. White 1871 –, Lillian Elma White 1874 –, Silas A. White 1876 – 1963, Charles H. White 1877 –, Della B White 1882 – |

My gg-grandfather is William White; Sardis Henry White born 18 March 1827 is [possibly] my ggg-grandfather. From Tim White, Michigan <wcs@dmcibb.net> A few years ago I went to Goshen, Indiana and talked to someone at the "old library building" and got the following information: There are 5 White family members buried in the Oakridge Cemetery in Goshen, Indiana that may be related to me. They are in the original section 916 in the following locations. From: Tim White Phoebe A. White - Oct. 2 1885 space "A"; Wm. A. White - Dec. 5 1908 "CO. M 3 OH CAV" space "B"; Elizabeth (Dessie) White - Sep. 8 1885 space "C"; Malvina M. (Melvin) White - Jan. 8 1881 space "D"; Frank White - "BAND, 160 IND INF SP. AM. WAR" space "H". |
